Why are we working so hard to publish books in different languages?

.....because we want to allow Parent to be Educators:

Parents lose their role as the educator due to the fact that youth learn a language faster than adults. This often results in the children being the interpreter and gaining the role as the grown-up in the parent child relationship.  Read It Again will create the platform for parents to serve as an educator. Because Read It Again books will be bilingual, parents will get to teach their heritage language to their children.

.....because we want to create the chance for parents to be Role-models:

Parents are the most important influence in their children’s ultimate love for reading. Read It Again will give parents the material they will need to sit down and read, modeling the behavior children desperately need to achieve educational success.

.....because it's important for every family to Laugh Together:

Laughter is a universal need and at times may be overlooked when families are trying to focus on providing the essential needs for their children. Read It Again will have several books that will be told with an understandable humor providing these families the opening to have a moment to laugh together.

.....because it's crucial that families Maintain their Heritage Language:

Families are in such a need to learn English they lose track of keeping the language they already know. Children losing their heritage language is a result of the assimilation process. Read It Again books will give parents the chance to teach not only the spoken form but the written form of their language as well.

.....because every child should have Cultural Pride:

Immigrant children are forced into a society that is very different from their country or their home life. They are quick to find the need to “fit in” and not be different which is very natural for children in general but even more so for immigrant children. Hearing stories that are similar to theirs will prevent them from feeling isolated and to realize their unique qualities and create desire to share the story of their journey. This can bring a great sense of achievement and produce pride in their culture.

.....because we want to generate an opportunity to be Exposed to English:

Because all books written by Read It Again will also be in English they will allow both children and parents to reinforce their need for English exposure.  This will support parents educational process who in some cases may not get direct English contact.
